ARROWSMITH
HOUSE
This is the house in which I grew up. My parents, Cyril and Marie Hall were loving custodians for 50 years.
My dad had a passion for the English Martyrs , especially St Edmund Arrowsmith.
After his death in 2005 my mother continued to welcome visitors till her death in 2017.
And so I am corrying on the custodianship of this remarkable building.
It's a daunting task, looking after this Grade 2* Listed Building which dates back to circa 1580.
My parents restored the upper room which, according to tradition,
was the room of St Edmund's Last Mass.
Over the years the Chapel has welcomed thousands of people who have come to give thanks
for the brave men and women who gave their lives, that we might practise our faith freely.

The house has had some renovation work and I am now once again welcoming visitors, from primary and secondary schools and parish groups.
This is not a money making venture and I would ask only a donation from any visitors. Please do email me if you're interested in bringing a group.
